Q: My Realtor listed my home for $11,000 dollars less than I signed the contract for and it is listed as a foreclosure which it is not. Can I get out of the contract?
?Upset, Burlington, KY
A: Have you talked with your agent to have them make a correction? That would be the first step. Should you not receive the satified with the agent?s correction, then you should call the managing broker of their office. This could just be an input error which could be remedied rather quickly.

A: If they listed it for a different amount than what you signed for, you have every right to cancel the listing.

A: Where did you see this listing? Maybe it was a past listing? Maybe confront your Realtor about this and ask for a copy of the MLS sheet to make sure that this is the fact. If you really want to break the contract, you will have to mutually agree in writing. Email works.
